ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Katie and I am a passionate designer with an acute attention to detail, dedicated to empowering women through thoughtful, well-fitting garments.

My focus is on sustainable fashion that priotises comfort, integrity and longevity. I translate precise pattern-making and material sensitivity into collections that celebrate diverse bodies while reducing the environmental impact.

Currently completing a Contour Fashion degree at DeMontfort University, I combine technical practices to create pieces that are both beautifully crafted and consciously considered.

'Katie’s project was filled with fantastic primary research, and her choice of trail running end use with thoroughly considered pieces (loved the back of the run vest!) showed a real eye for feminine detail, and how the wearer would style each look. Katie gave great attention to where the outfits would be worn, factoring in clever visibility when running at night, and designing layerable pieces to adjust dependent on weather. Her print and colour palette were also beautiful.'
